changes & new beginnings

Changes are tough, but good. Right?

I have decided....no more PE blog but a family blog instead.

I always have these amazing ideas and inspirations to do sooooo much and then all of a sudden a year later I have three posts and that's it. (Thats not including the 25 rough draft posts sitting the drafts section...I must have an issue with hitting the button Publish!)

While being pregnant, and just sitting back and looking back at what all has happened just in this past year...engagement, marragie, baby, family moving away, buying a new home, etc. ALOT has happened. in a blink of an eye I realize I want to cherish these moments. What better way to with blog!

With our first little one on the way (due last Monday- March 16) I'm thinking I might be more apt to posting on here our life's blessings. Both of our families live away from us and if I can post little snippets of our days and activities it might help family and friends be apart of our moments.

Teaching is a big part of my husband and I's days but also our faith. So hopefully I can actually sit down and include a little bit but of everything on here.

So I welcome you too.

Favorite Book Character Day

Today was dress as your favorite book character.
Usually the Student Council has the students dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss Character but this year we let them choose any book.

I thought long and hard what books were my favorite...the top of my list was Chrysanthemum.
Plus I had the whole outfit already anyways :)

Happy Read - A - Book DAY!

Sports!

Growing up and being involved in many different sports has helped me become who I am today.
I'm now on the other side of these activities... Off the court and on the sidelines.... As The Coach!

I'm still a newbie and still trying to find the right fit of which hat I would like to wear. (Middle School or High School)

This year was great! As a middle school coach and teaching elementary students it's wonderful to see the difference in their fitness ability and movement skills! Spending all day with Elementary Students and then evenings with Middle school 8th grade Girls is awesome!

This year we had some differences with our conferences, of course these changes all happened at the last minute! But our teams did great!

Nice job girls! Going to miss seeing you all after school, and of course those before school early mornings!  Plus those bus trips!

I better be seeing these lovely ladies at the high school!

I have a couple photos of our team this year... I need to get them on here.

Here was our last years team! Conference Champs! 2012

(Pic of a Pic)  This Years young and very talented team.

My team that made it to the Championship and came out strong! Took 2nd but gave it their all! Nice Job ladies!

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS:
Our High School team made it to state this year...

Here is this years Video I made for the girls - turns out if you don't buy the program you get credits in the middle of the video....eh oh well.

The video is very blurry on here. Hopefully you can at least see some of the quotes and photos.

YES WE DID WIN!!!
Check out our local and state newspaper clipping HERE

The funny story is...Michael is from Douglas and our team played against them in the Championship! It was by far, hands down, the best game we have ever played this whole year!

Came back from State and my Co-workers made this for me!

What a wonderful year for Volleyball!
Can't wait until spring ball.

monsters are in town!

last year I decorated for Halloween! This year I did a little bite of decoration and something different.

            Be Afraid! Be Very Afraid!
Of my messy office yes! But my friends are visiting this year! Can't wait for them to join me! I asked my first kindergarten class if they could guess their names! They all started with a P!
And the first three names I said were correct (boy they were cute!)
Let me introduce to you Pete, Polly, and Pump (jump with a "p")!

Have a great Halloween this year!
