When & Why Did You Become A PE Teacher?

I Graduated from High School in 2005 and started Beauty School right away in another Town (I was the typical high school graduate, just had to move away from home). Completed Beauty School and worked in a Hair Salon for 3 years...found out I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life.

I took a break from work one summer and nannied for a Family. This opened my eyes and I realized I loved working with kids and decided I would go back to coaching Volleyball, thinking possibly that's what I needed to be more happy in life. I Coached a Club Traveling Volleyball Team and then began thinking about possibly teaching...then a year later I was enrolled at the Community College as a Full Time student and working towards my Physical Education Degree. I worked for the Boys and Girls Club after school program as their gym coordinator. There were times I had 60 students in one gym! With all ages ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade, trying to play games and getting along.
That's when I knew I wanted to be a PE teacher!​

Teaching PHYSICAL EDUCATION is my passion!
